The Alexander Technique
The Alexander Technique is not an exercise program, unlike Assisted Isolated Stretching (AIS) our core competency at Stretch Asia. AT, as it’s called, is a time-proven method of teaching ways to move more freely, in a more relaxed and comfortable way, to improve ease of movement, balance, support, and coordination. It teaches the use of just the right amount of effort for an activity. leaving you with more energy for all your other activities. It helps you maintain an optimal posture to relieve and prevent pain and discomfort from poor posture and stress. Whilst Assisted Isolated Stretching helps you obtain optimal posture, the Alexander Technique helps you learn to maintain it, by changing your habits.
