The Membership Manager is responsible for bringing new members to the studio and booking them into an initial session to assist with new membership sales.


The Membership Manager also helps retain current members.

Fitness knowledge or a background is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to the Studio Manager in generating, following up on and closing sales
  • Schedule and confirm intro sessions
  • Assist the front desk in checking-in clients and prospects as they enter the studio
  • Introduce yourself and conduct tours of the facility while focusing on the individual's needs and wants
  • Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales performance
  • Encourage and enforce fitness and wellness studio objectives
  • Present available services to members and prospective members
  • Maintain leads and follow up with missed intro sessions to achieve monthly sales quotas.
  • Promote the studio at special events
  • Maintain a clean, tidy studio at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills are required
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships for one-on one assisted stretch and retail
  • Knowledge of and ability to use Mindbody software
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills via email, phone, and in person are essential.
  • Good computer skills and an openness to learning more
  • Responsible, self-motivated, organised and able to take initiative
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends
